Take the Booloumba Falls Walk, a graded walking track that descends to a lookout platform offering scenic views.  The Charlie Moreland Camping Grounds also provides easy access to beautiful bush walks and abundant birdlife. Take the family to the Kenilworth Historical Museum in Alexandra Street for a glimpse into the history of the region and the daily lives of its pioneering families. Or for a perfect spot for a BBQ, visit the scenic Kenilworth Park.

Local knowledge

It was a Mrs Smith who came up with her station's name after reading Sir Walter Scott's novel 'Kenilworth'. In 1921 the town was surveyed and took the name of Mr and Mrs Smith's property.

If you can't see any ravens in Kenilworth it means the Scarecrow and Limerick Festival is on. Following the scarecrow trail gives you an amusing streetscape of the town and creates a nightmare for any raven wishing to rest its wings.

History

Kenilworth's Aboriginal name is Hinka Booma.
