The winds are SSW early but are are predicted to go very strong SSE later. Try the beachies in the S protected corners early on high tide, Dickys-Currumindi, Alex, Coolum, A Bay, Noosa groynes. The points later when the wind goes strong SSE and the tide drops. Caloundra is at the southernmost end of the Sunshine Coast and only a 20 to 30 minute drive from Maroochy. It is located just opposite to the northern end of Bribie Island National Park, which on low tide is only a few swimming strokes away for you to explore.
