The region is largely made up of the Conondale National Park and Kenilworth State Forest - an area famed for its bushwalking, bird watching, camping, mountain biking and four-wheel driving.Several walking tracks allow you to explore and then cool down in a pristine creek or swimming hole. The walks range from short strolls to the challenging Mt Coolum trail, where you will find spectacular views over the region.
