CoastalWatch surf report: Swell 3ft SE - Rating 5 - Winds 11 kts - High Tide 05:38 am & 05:48 pm - Low Tide 12:00 am & 11:47 pm - The swell has gone around to the SE and is in the 2-3ft+ range on the open beaches. The winds are SSW early but are are predicted to go very strong SSE later. Try the beachies in the S protected corners early on high tide, Dickys-Currumindi, Alex, Coolum, A Bay, Noosa groynes. The points later when the wind goes strong SSE and the tide drops. Sea: 2 metres, rising to 3 metres from the south during the day. Swell: SE 1.5 to 2 metres, tending S/SE 2.5 metres from the south during the day. Several walking tracks allow you to explore and then cool down in a pristine creek or swimming hole. The walks range from short strolls to the challenging Mt Coolum trail, where you will find spectacular views over the region.
