CoastalWatch surf report: Swell 3-4ft SE - Rating 5 - Winds 15 kts - High Tide 06:17 am & 06:28 pm - Low Tide 12:00 am & 12:42 pm - The swell is messy from the strong S winds and rising out of the SE and is in the 3-4ft range on the open beaches. The winds are fresh S early but are are predicted to go very strong SSE later. Try the beachies in the S protected corners early on high tide, Dickys-Currumindi, Alex, Coolum, A Bay, Noosa groynes. The points later when the wind goes strong SSE and the tide drops. Check out the latest Coastalwatch forecast. - SSW winds early going S/SE 25/35 knots, increasing further to 30/40 knots offshore.
