Marcoola is ideally located midway up the Sunshine Coast and treasured by locals for its excellent broad beaches and tranquil environs.  It’s an easy drive to Sunshine Coast Airport, 20 minutes to Noosa Heads and Hinterland (Montville and Maleny) and 10 minutes to Sunshine Plaza.

The Sunshine Coast is recognised as one of the most outstanding locations and best playgrounds in Queensland with easy access to a myriad of recreational activities including surf beaches, great fishing and three major golf courses close-by.

Marcoola Beach is located just north of Maroochy River and boasts quiet uncrowded beaches, which are best suited for serious surfers and walkers. Marcoola Beach is a great escape to unwind for a quiet barbecue or picnic with its open grassy parkland, shady trees and children's park.

Marcoola Beach produces excellent breaks throughout the winter period. Often overlooked because of access, the area has a reputation of being 'under-surfed' even though it does produce a very good beach break.
