The winds will go NNW, then NNE later. Just very small ones all along the open beaches on high tide early, then try Sunshine, Yaroomba and Kawana later. Quad Park features 13 impressive sports fields, the Kawana Aquatic Centre, Lake Kawana, the beautiful East Bank foreshore, and the new Quad Park West precinct.

Quad Park is a venue like no other. From state, national and international events to local sporting clubs, from elite training programs to community groups or even a relaxing family barbeque by the lake...

Quad Park is a venue for all seasons and all reasons.

The facility itself is currently home to a number of community sporting teams and competitions including Kawana Rugby Union, Kawana Rugby League, Kawana Soccer and the Kawana Touch Association. In addition to this the Kawana Aquatic Centre offers a variety of activities from swim classes to aqua-aerobics.
Many successful events have been conducted at Quad Park. From the training base for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games gold medal winning Women's water polo team, to recently the training base for the 2006 Queensland State of Origin team.

Touring productions are held here such as Grease and Cats, circuses and Home-shows, Boat Shows, the Vintage Car Show, as well as numerous state and national championships in a variety of sporting events.

Quad Park Corporation is a non-profit body established by the Caloundra City Council as a company under Corporations Law. The Board has been specifically formed to provide the range of skills and experience necessary for the success of this project.
