The Surf Club is located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean at Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The Mooloolaba Surf Club boasts a spectacular beachside position from which to ‘ponder the wide blue yonder’ and is one of the oldest Surf Life Saving Clubs in Australia.

Steeped in the rich tradition of the Australian Surf Life Saving movement the Mooloolaba Surf Club has seen many young men and women pass through the ranks and go on to become world class champions, and active, committed and generous members of our community. Established in 1922 the Surf Club has achieved many firsts in its’ long history. Take a stroll along the legends wall.

With over 16,000 members it’s easy to see why so many people love visiting the Surf Club any time of day. So whether you’re on vacation, joining friends for a celebration or a new resident to the Sunshine Coast we look forward to welcoming you!

The Club offers various activities for members from Nippers to Masters and our volunteers patrol Mooloolaba Beach from September through to May each weekend and public holidays. With the Council Lifeguard service the beach is patrolled 7 days a week every day of the year.
