CoastalWatch surf report: Swell 1-2ft ESE - Rating 3 - Winds 4kts - High Tide 07:51 am & 08:30 pm - Low Tide 02:15 am & 01:51 pm - The swell is still very small at 1-2ft max along the open stretches with a light W winds early. The winds will go NNW, then NNE later. Just very small ones all along the open beaches on high tide early, then try Sunshine, Yaroomba and Kawana later. Best Job in the World winner, Ben Southall visited the Sunshine Coast as part of his six month stint as Island Caretaker of Hamilton Island. Ben stayed on the Sunshine Coast for a couple of days and one of the highlights of his visit was a surfing lesson with Robbie Sherwell of XL Surfing Academy.

While Ben was on the Sunshine Coast he also played golf with Adam Scott at the PGA Championship Australia at the Hyatt Regency Coolum.
