The winds are SSW early but are are predicted to go very strong SSE later. Try the beachies in the S protected corners early on high tide, Dickys-Currumindi, Alex, Coolum, A Bay, Noosa groynes. The points later when the wind goes strong SSE and the tide drops. The Mooloolaba Seafood Festival is an annual, one-day event supporting and showcasing the Mooloolaba seafood and fishing industries in a fund, family-oriented format. The event consists of a number of culturally and historically significant opening ceremonies, themed stalls, educational displays from the Mooloolaba Coastguard and seafood and finishing industry representatives, a progressive community artwork, roaming and fixed entertainment (bands, street performers etc), cooking demonstrations and a variety of fun competitions and games to engage the public.
